Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of this store and any order you place through it. By browsing the site or placing an order you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the store.
WRIP operates this store from San Diego, California, United States.
1 · Who can order
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter a binding contract. By ordering you confirm that the payment method you use is yours or that you have permission to use it, and that the information you give us is accurate and complete.
2 · Products, color and fit
Our pieces are printed on garment-dyed blanks. Garment dyeing is a deliberately inconsistent process: color, tone and depth vary from batch to batch and from piece to piece, and print placement varies within normal production tolerance. Screens vary too, so what you see will not match what arrives exactly. This variation is a property of the product, not a defect, and is not grounds for a refund.
Measurements in the size guide are of the garment laid flat and carry a tolerance of roughly one inch. Stock and colorway availability can change without notice, and we may retire a design at any time.
3 · Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax and shipping, which are calculated at checkout. Your card is charged in full at the time of order; this is not a deposit and no balance is collected later.
We try to describe and price everything accurately, but listings can carry errors. If a product is listed at the wrong price or with a materially wrong description, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after you receive a confirmation email. A confirmation email acknowledges your order; it does not by itself form a binding contract of sale. We will always tell you before canceling.
We may limit or refuse any order, including orders that appear to be for resale, orders from a single customer or address in unusual quantity, and orders our payment processor flags as high risk.
4 · Made-to-order and fulfillment times
Pieces are printed after you order. Stated fulfillment windows are good-faith estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by supply, freight and production capacity. Where we cannot meet a stated window we will contact you before it lapses and you may cancel for a full refund. Refunds and exchanges are governed by our Refund Policy, and delivery by our Shipping Policy; both form part of these terms.
5 · Our designs
The WRIP name and mark, our artwork, photography, product designs, copy and the design of this site are our property or used under license, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may not reproduce, print, resell, or create derivative works from any of it without our written permission. Buying a piece buys you the garment, not the artwork on it.
6 · Content you send us, and content you post about us
If you send us a photo, video, review, caption or comment, or you post one publicly and tag WRIP or use a WRIP hashtag, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable license to use, reproduce, edit, crop, adapt, publish, distribute and display it in any medium — on this store, on our social accounts, in email, in advertising, in print and in partner and press material — together with your handle or first name where you supplied it.
You confirm you own or control everything you send, that you have permission from anyone appearing in it, and that its use by us will not infringe anyone's rights. We are not obliged to use anything, to credit you, or to pay you, and you waive any moral rights in it to the extent the law allows. Tell us at admin@wearwrip.com if you want something taken down and we will remove it from anything we control going forward.
Feedback — any idea, suggestion, bug report or observation you share about our products, packaging or store may be used by us without restriction, attribution or compensation, and does not make you an owner of anything that results.
7 · Contacting you
By placing an order you agree we may contact you about it — confirmations, shipping notices, delays, stock problems, delivery questions and anything else needed to fulfil what you bought — by email, and by SMS or phone if you gave us a number. That is part of the sale and is not marketing.
Marketing email is separate and only goes to people who asked for it. Every marketing message carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately, and unsubscribing never affects an order in progress. How we handle your personal information generally is set out in our Privacy Policy, which governs if anything here conflicts with it.
8 · Things you may not do
Do not use this store to break any law; to infringe anyone's rights; to harvest data, scrape, or probe the site's security; to introduce malicious code; to place fraudulent orders; or to interfere with anyone else's use of it. We may refuse service, close accounts and cancel orders where we reasonably believe any of this is happening.
9 · The site is provided as-is
We do not warrant that the store will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that any information on it is accurate, complete or current. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Your use of the store is at your own risk.
10 · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WRIP and its owners, employees, contractors and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from your use of the store or any product bought through it, whether the claim is in contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise, and even if we were told such damages were possible.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the order the claim relates to.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. In those places our liability is limited to the least the law allows, and the rest of this section still applies.
11 · Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WRIP, its owners, employees and suppliers from any claim, demand, loss or cost — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the store, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12 · Third parties
Checkout, payment processing, hosting, email and delivery are handled by third parties including Shopify, our payment processor and our carriers. We are not responsible for their acts, omissions, outages or policies, though we will always help you deal with them. Links to other sites are not endorsements.
13 · Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You and WRIP agree that any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Before filing anything, email admin@wearwrip.com and give us 30 days to sort it out. Most things are fixable that way.
14 · Changes
We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version here. The version in force when you place an order governs that order. Continuing to use the store after a change means you accept it.
15 · The rest
If any provision here is found unenforceable, it is limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Refund, Shipping and Privacy policies, are the entire agreement between us and replace any earlier understanding.
